Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join the Farm Animal Business team in Madrid. You will develop relationships with dairy farmers and veterinarians, promoting non-prescription products and supporting sales across swine and poultry sectors.

You will execute outbound calls and digital activities, manage dairy accounts, and coordinate handovers with territory managers, while documenting interactions in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, Animal Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in animal health, agriculture or a related commercial environment.
• Basic knowledge of animal nutrition or farm management.
• Excellent Spanish and intermediate-to-professional English communication skills.
• Comfort with phone-based and digital customer interactions, together with the ability to learn and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of small-to-medium dairy accounts, identify customer needs and support sales targets.

Your Role:

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will join the Farm Animal Business team in Spain and support commercial growth through phone, video and digital channels. In this role, you will develop relationships with dairy farmers and veterinarians, promote non‑prescription animal health products, and support sales and marketing activities across the swine and poultry businesses.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute outbound calls and digital activities for national marketing campaigns, promoting non‑prescription products using approved technical materials.

• Manage a defined portfolio of small‑to‑medium dairy accounts, identify customer needs and support the achievement of sales targets.

• Coordinate with territory managers to qualify and hand over leads while ensuring effective collaboration with the field sales team.

• Support commercial campaigns for swine and poultry, including activities related to new product launches.

• Record customer interactions, leads and feedback accurately in Salesforce to support sales, marketing and customer insight activities.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, Animal Science or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in animal health, agriculture or a related commercial environment, including relevant internships.

• Basic knowledge of animal nutrition or farm management.

• Excellent Spanish and intermediate‑to‑professional English communication skills.

• Comfort with phone‑based and digital customer interactions, together with the ability to learn and collaborate effectively.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

• Experience supporting sales, marketing or customer engagement activities in the animal health or agricultural sector.

• Experience working with dairy, swine or poultry customers.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or another Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• Experience promoting nutritional supplements or other non‑prescription animal health products.

• Interest in developing a commercial career in the Farm Animal Business.
