Job summary

Sleep Number Retail Corporation is seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Associate in Hoover, AL to help customers find Sleep Number solutions. You will explain product benefits, current promotions, and tailor experiences to maximize satisfaction and sales.

You’ll nurture prospects via outbound calls and contribute to maintaining a welcoming showroom environment. The role emphasizes strong communication, a customer-focused attitude, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends in a busy retail

Qualifications

The Opportunity – What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• - Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• - Goal-oriented and customer-focused attitude, with a drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• - Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• - 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• - Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• - Comfortable using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools (e.g., iPads, apps).
• - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.

• - Most team members earn a salary of $47,000-58,000 annually; actual earnings vary and are not guaranteed.
• - Guaranteed base pay of $16/hour, along with uncapped commission and bonus potential.
