Job summary

Graybar in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sales Representative to build relationships with new prospects and maintain existing accounts while selling Graybar products and services. You will develop and grow customer accounts, handle inquiries promptly, and keep accurate records.

This role offers uncapped commissions with a base salary, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a FAVR vehicle reimbursement program. Travel may be required and benefits include a 401(k) match, paid time off, and career development

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience preferred.
• 2 or 4 year degree preferred.

Our Sales Representatives develop relationships with a wide variety of customers, learn about exciting technology and products, and grow their career in sales.In this role you will:Develop and grow customer accountsHandle customer inquiries promptly and effectivelyMaintain up-to-date and accurate customer recordsParticipate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetingsEarn uncapped commissions plus a base salaryMeet or exceed assigned annual sales and margin budgetsWhat you bring to the table:Ability to negotiate and be persuasiveWork independently and within a teamHighly effective interpersonal and communication skills2+ years relevant experience preferred, 2 or 4 year degree preferredAbility to travel on a limited basisCompensation Details: The expected starting pay for this position is $50,000 annualy, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.Shift Hours and Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pmThis role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers. This program allows you to choose and drive your own vehicle, rather than a company-assigned car, and your reimbursements can help you build equity in your vehicle over time. Please note that certain vehicle requirements, such as age and original MSRP, may impact your eligibility for tax-free reimbursement.
