Job summary

Graybar in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Sales Representative to develop relationships with new prospects and maintain existing customers while selling Graybar products and services. You will learn about technology, grow your sales career, and work with a team to meet annual budgets.

The role requires strong negotiation, persuasive communication, and the ability to travel occasionally. 4+ years experience preferred and a 4-year degree preferred; hours are Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, with a reimbursement

Our Sales Representatives develop relationships with a wide variety of customers, learn about exciting technology and products, and grow their career in sales.In this role you will:Develop and grow customer accountsHandle customer inquiries promptly and effectivelyMaintain up-to-date and accurate customer recordsParticipate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetingsMeet or exceed assigned annual sales and margin budgetsWhat you bring to the table:Ability to negotiate and be persuasiveWork independently and within a teamHighly effective interpersonal and communication skills4+ years experience preferred, 4 year degree preferredAbility to travel on a limited basisCompensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $25.20 per hour, depending on experience.Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pmThis role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes.
