Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dynamic sales professional in the United States to drive outbound business development and direct-to-consumer sales. You will maintain a proactive pipeline, call and email prospects, and educate them on policies and product offerings to ensure a strong customer experience.

Ideal candidates have a Property & Casualty Insurance License, 2+ years in outbound sales, and a proven DTC track record.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Mon-Fri 11:30am–8:00pm EST availability.
• Minimum 2 years of outbound sales experience.
• Proven track record in DTC sales, lead generation and new business development.

• Maintain a robust sales pipeline by completing 20–30 calls per day, primarily focused on closing new business
• Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls and emails, prioritizing outbound calls to warm leads
• Provide prospective customers with a best-in-show experience and educate them on Pumpkin’s policies and product offerings
• Analyze customer motivation, gather information, explore concerns, and handle objections
• Act as a brand ambassador by establishing and building positive customer experiences
• Collaborate with the team to provide the best customer experience
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm EST
• Internet bandwidth of up to 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outbound sales environment
• Proven track record in direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, lead generation, and new business development
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Fluent English communication skills required to interact with customers
• Preferred: experience in the insurance or animal health industries
