Job summary

Specialty Beverage in Virginia is seeking a motivated sales professional to manage the Richmond area, grow distribution, and develop new business at current no-buy accounts within the Sheehan Family Companies network.

You will drive product placement, promotions, and customer relations across a defined territory, with a total compensation package in the $50-65k range plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relations and promote goodwill.
• Rotate product and follow code policy.
• Sell, distribute and place all Specialty products.
• Merchandise accounts with point-of-sale materials.
• Conduct promotions in accounts as needed.
• Develop new accounts and placements.
• Organize sales programs, promotions and features using POS resources.
• Handle inquiries about product information and delivery.
• Meet monthly goals and maintain weekly account appointments.
• All duties subject to standard background checks.

General territory to include Richmond and surrounding cities.

Total compensation package is inclusive of base salary and bonuses, and in the range of $50-65k , range is based off experience and qualifications.

OBJECTIVE

To ensure the successful sale and distribution of all Specialty Beverage products throughout their assigned territory. This individual will be responsible for developing new business at current no-buy accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the good will of the company
• Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
• Successful sale, distribution and placement of all Specialty products
• Proper merchandising of accounts with legal point of sale materials
• Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when required
• Develop new accounts and new placements
• Organize and execute sales programs, promotions and features using effective, legal, point of sale resources
• Handle customer inquiries regarding product information, service needs, delivery and other inquiries as they arise
• Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area
• Other duties as assigned
