Your main responsibilities
  • Identify sales opportunities through customer contacts and industry insights, preparing documentation for prospective clients and managing existing accounts to foster growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer objectives.
  • Negotiate favorable contract terms.
  • Analyze customer needs and promote suitable products and services.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and address customer complaints satisfactorily.
  • Prepare estimates and manage customer information in accordance with procedures.
  • Collaborate with owners and building management on maintenance agreements and system updates.
  • Use competitive data to inform strategies and communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and sales targets.
  • Develop negotiating strategies, plan sales approaches, and understand financial goals.
  • Participate in professional development to enhance product and service knowledge.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred) with prior technical sales experience, or Journeyman Technician with at least 5 years in the field.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and SAP.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the elevator or related building systems industry.
