Job summary

Mutual of Omaha's Sales Office Assistant position is based in Denver, CO or Houston, TX with a hybrid work arrangement. You will support the Sales team by handling quotes and broker relationships, and you will help develop compelling proposals to drive business growth.

You will assist with underwriting-related tasks for life and long-term disability cases, coordinate installations, ensure accurate paperwork, and stay current on product knowledge and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support and client service is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Strategic support: drive sales team success by managing quotes, building broker relationships, and supporting ambitious sales goals.
• Proposal excellence: handle RFPs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure timely responses.
• Underwriting exposure: work with life and long-term disability cases from underwriting to quoting premium rates.
• Smooth implementation: coordinate installation processes and ensure accurate paperwork for clients.
• Industry insight: stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulatory compliance.
