Business Solutions Manager @ Ultimate Staffing

Position Overview:

The Sales Project Manager is responsible for leading building restoration projects from initial client interaction through completion. This role requires strong sales and customer relationship skills, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, allowing them to anticipate challenges and manage unexpected project developments.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify prospective clients and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Represent the organization's reputation for professionalism and excellent customer service.
Building Evaluation
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of structures to identify deterioration and water infiltration issues.
  • Document findings through measurements, photographs, and written assessments.
  • Develop scopes of work and clearly communicate proposed solutions to clients.
Bidding & Estimating
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and collaborate with owners, property managers, architects, and engineers.
  • Calculate repair quantities and pricing estimates.
  • Prepare and present project proposals and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in internal systems.
Project Oversight
  • Coordinate and schedule work for internal crews and subcontractors.
  • Maintain direct communication with foremen, superintendents, and clients.
  • Monitor job sites to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Lead job progress meetings and provide consistent project updates.
Billing & Documentation
  • Generate invoices and monitor payments to ensure timely receipt.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm satisfaction and resolve concerns.
Contract & Legal Compliance
  • Review and negotiate contracts with an emphasis on legal accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay informed on permit requirements, labor regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction or engineering (labor or management roles).
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strategic sales prospecting and relationship management.
  • Knowledge of building restoration processes and job site operations.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory construction standards.
