Job summary

Baker Hughes in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to own accounts, build trusted relationships, and drive new and existing sales opportunities within the oil and gas sector.

You will be the customer’s ambassador, using market knowledge to deliver insights and solutions while supporting safe, effective downhole drilling activities with drill bits and directional drilling expertise.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in oil and gas operations.
• Proven experience as a sales representative.
• Experience with drill bits and directional drilling.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact and trusted advisor to customers for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns.
• Handle complex products and systems requiring technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products or systems will be used.
• Respond to customer needs, wants and expectations.
• Evaluate the suitability and use of drill bits and components, ensuring successful and safe downhole drilling activities.

As a Field Sales Specialist you will take ownership for the accounts and represent Baker Hughes. Using your knowledge of the market and customers, you will build trusted relationships. Acting as an ambassador for the customer, you will contribute innovative insights that deliver new and existing sales opportunities.
