Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Must pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; insurance license if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: prospect for referrals and opportunities daily.
• Explain and present cemetery services to families.
• Develop and maintain relationships with families and referred clients.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries.
• Prepare for and conduct appointments with families.
• Collaborate with funeral directors, location managers, and cemetery staff.
• Follow through on customer problems and requests to earn referrals.
• Build trust-based relationships to protect families in the future.

The estimated total target compensation for this position in the first year typically ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on a strong commission-based incentive structure. In subsequent years, sales professionals commonly earn $100,000 to $150,000 or more annually.
