Job summary

Rooms To Go in Florida is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, uncover their home furnishings needs, and help turn their design vision into reality.

You will work with a team to achieve sales goals, demonstrate product value, discuss financing and protection plans, and encourage additional products to complete rooms. Training is provided, and benefits include medical/dental/eye and 401K with uncapped commissions and a strong rewards program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but training provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to use tablets and touch screens.

Anyone who has experience working directly with customers can be successful selling furniture at Rooms To Go, including servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, flight attendants and anyone else in a service role.

What We Are Looking For

• Team player, driven and motivated to succeed
• Great listener with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule is required, which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

As a full time Retail Sales Associate, your primary responsibilities are:

Pay averages around $70,000 - $100,000 / year based on amount of commission and position location.
