Sales Porter and Lot Attendant

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Luxury Automotive Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a professional dealership appearance and delivering an exceptional experience for our luxury automotive customers.

This position plays an important role in keeping our new and pre‑owned vehicle inventory organized, clean, and ready for customers

Key Responsibilities:

• *All associates should abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
• Drive vehicles to and from showroom, exterior vehicle display areas, service department, gas station, or other storage areas to designated location as needed to maintain inventory and assist in retrieval of vehicles. Fill vehicles with fuel as needed.
• Receive and inspect vehicles delivered to dealership to ensure vehicles are free of damage. If damaged is seen during inspection, document damage to dealership standards.
• Ensure required documents and RFID tags are placed in correct vehicle and keys and books delivered to the inventory control clerk.
• Organize and maintain keys and key tags in key boxes. Deliver keys and other materials various departments as needed.
• Perform general clean‑up of demo vehicles and other vehicles as required.
• Maintain the organization and appearance of the dealership lot and showroom.
• Keep vehicle lots and designated department neat and organized.
• Assist the sales staff with vehicle deliveries.
• Inventory management.
• Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Shifts vary; Dealership operates Monday - Saturday; Scheduling may require weekends before/after business hours.
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Authorized to work in the USA for any employer
• All applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and must be insurable under our garage-keepers policy standards
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Basic communication, problem-solving, and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
• Physical demands include: constantly move and position body to traverse multi-level Dealership property and various terrain to retrieve vehicles and manage inventory; enter/exit/drive/operate vehicles; detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects* (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion
• Work is conducted inside, outside in varying weather conditions, on public and private roadways, and in proximity to moving vehicles and equipmentin a shop environment with potential exposure to loud *noises and various industrial *chemicals.
• *Please note: Employees are trained in protocols, proper material/chemical handling and provided with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with OSHA standards. Employees must strictly adhere to all mandatory safety protocols and PPE requirements.
