Job summary

Weller Truck Parts in the United States is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service, assist with inquiries, and guide purchases. You will process orders, quotes, and sales transactions, while maintaining inventory accuracy and product knowledge.

You will operate a forklift, pull inventory with an electronic scanner, load/unload trailers, and use hand and pneumatic tools to service inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associates degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of sales experience is required.
• Basic mechanical skills and prior fork truck operation experience is preferred.
• Commercial (heavy duty) Truck Parts background/knowledge is required.
• Valid forklift operator certification is not required but must be able to be certified by Weller upon employment.
• Proficient in general computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must have a hunter sales mentality.
• Must be a motivated self-starter.
• Must demonstrate the ability to build relationships with a variety of customers.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus.

• Cross trains in various areas to complete varied assignments.

Job Summary

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers both in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries, and recommending appropriate products. They will accurately process orders, quotes, and sales transactions, while managing inventory, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The role involves resolving customer concerns, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. In addition to sales responsibilities, this position includes operating a forklift to pull inventory, loading and unloading trailers, and using hand and pneumatic tools to replace and change components on inventory. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail are key to building customer trust and loyalty. The position also requires adherence to health and safety guidelines and regular attendance. Other duties may be assigned to support the sales team and enhance the customer experience.

Maintains a strong attention to detail to ensure an accurate inventory is maintained. Loads and unloads trailers, trucks and semi-trailers as required. Secures loads on trailers, trucks, and semi-trailers to ensure safe transportation. Uses hand and pneumatic tools to replace and change components (shift covers, input shafts, etc.) on inventory. Cross trains in various areas to ensure the completion of varied work assignments. Periodically operates hand and pneumatic air tools. Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

Weller Truck Parts offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
