This is primarily a remote work from home role with flexibility to attend on-site meetings as needed. Candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Chicago, Milwuakee or Charlotte areas are preferred. However, remote applicants with strong, relevant experience residing in the following states will also be considered:

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Sales Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Managed Health Strategy payor performance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales processes, improving efficiency, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of sales processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Previous experience in health care sales support strong preferred with a preference for hospital or health insurance payor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Lead Documentation: Documents leads from various sources (web-based inquiries, events) in Salesforce and assigns to appropriate sales team members (or product expert).
- Sales Process Optimization: Analyzes existing sales processes to identify opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency. Makes recommendations to management and implements selected solutions. Ensures adherence to established sales processes.
- Sales Reporting: Ensures timely entry of sales data and data integrity within the CRM system and generates regular sales performance reports for management review.
- Sales Collateral: Ensures updated sales collateral material available in Salesforce and follows up with Product Experts as necessary.
- Inbound Requests: Receives inbound requests from multiple health system websites for potential services; triages requests and routes appropriately. Logs all requests and follows-up with identified resources to ensure timely responses are made. Assesses non-sales contacts and researches appropriate routing or follow-up; ensures replies are made.
- RFP/RFIs: Manages timelines and due dates associated with Requests for Proposals and Information from Brokers, Consultants and Employers. Proactively engages sales team members, product owners, portfolio leaders, finance professionals and others to develop a competitive response in a timely manner. Coordinates any proposal follow-up, including presentations, questions, and changes. Assigns sales opportunity to appropriate Sales Team member when needed . Maintains bank of key documents, contacts, resources and slides for completion of RFPs.
- Sales Tools & Technology: Day to day management of sales tools and technologies to support the sales team. Ensure that the sales team is trained and proficient in using these tools. Ensures that sales collateral and product specifications are up to date in CRM library. Collaborates with CRM (guru) to identify potential improvements to the CRM and assists with implementation and training on system updates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works collaboratives with individuals both within and outside of the Managed Health department in support of team projects and cross-functional initiatives. Supports CRM-based marketing initiatives, product information, market intelligence and other related functions.
- Training & Development: Assists in the training of new and existing team members including best practices deployment and team member onboarding.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in statistics, accounting, or math with additional experiences in analyzing multiple sources of information, statistical modeling, and developing recommendations based on data analysis.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, and experience using a statistical software system (SAS or SPSS) and a market analysis software system (Solucient, Intellimed, Medstat/Inforum).
- Ability to analyze multiple sources of complex data and arrive at conclusions/recommendations.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with a broad spectrum of corporate and health system personnel, and ability to contribute as a team member.
- Ability to understand and develop initial financial information for business cases and proformas.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and function autonomously to meet the needs of a diverse client base.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Position will require regional travel which may result in exposure to road and weather hazards.

Pay Range
$32.45 - $48.70
