Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sales Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the systems, processes, and tools that drive our global sales team's performance and efficiency. This role is a critical bridge between sales, marketing, finance, delivery and operations, ensuring cross‑functional alignment to accelerate revenue growth and streamline workflows.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail‑oriented, and experienced in sales operations within a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment. You’ll take ownership of reporting, process optimization, CRM management, and sales enablement, ensuring the team has what it needs to close deals and scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management (Client, Subcontractor and Partner): Provide drafts of all contracts using scope and pricing provided by team using templates. Manage the process from end‑to‑end providing visibility to all involved, including approval process. Coordinate all Legal reviews.
  • Staffing: Monitor upcoming opportunities for staffing needs and update resource requests.
  • Portfolio Management: When contracts are signed, handle all setup in Salesforce/Certinia for the client project, including financials. Provide ongoing insight to upcoming contract end dates and renewals.
  • Internal Tools: Develop and maintain tools used internally for pricing (Excel based)
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Partner with sales leadership to develop forecasting models, territory planning, quota setting, and performance analytics.
  • CRM Ownership: Manage and optimize Salesforce and other sales tools to ensure data accuracy, user adoption, and efficient workflows.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement scalable sales processes, improving efficiency, reducing friction, and driving consistency across regions and providing continuous process improvement. Ensure processes are clearly documented and easily available in OneNote. When gaps are identified work to solve for them by updating or adding processes.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Deliver regular and ad‑hoc reporting on KPIs, sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, and team performance metrics.
  • Sales Enablement: Work with Marketing and Product teams to provide sales teams with training, collateral, and tools for success.
  • Sales Quota/Commissions: Track and report on quota goals and commissions due (Excel based).
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Delivery and Operations teams to coordinate contracts, pricing, RFPs, and client onboarding.
  • Tools & Systems: Evaluate and implement technology solutions (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Certinia, Smartsheet) to enhance productivity and data visibility. Infuse AI in day‑to‑day sales operations to drive automation, efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or technology‑driven company.
  • Deep experience with drafting and reviewing contracts and pricing for services (not products).
  • Proven success supporting high‑performing sales teams.
  • Deep experience with Salesforce, Excel and Word; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, OneNote, Outlook), Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tools, Certinia (FinancialForce), Smartsheet, AI‑tools or other sales enablement tools is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
Location & Logistics

Preferred locations are Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; and Chicago, IL.
