Job Description
As Sales Operations Manager, you’ll play a vital role at DATAMYTE.We are looking for an experienced, proactive leader that can help us continually improve and enhance our sales operations processes. This role requires an individual with strong sales operations and analytical skills who works collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement strategies that will maximize revenue opportunities, design scalable best practice solutions, and manage reporting.
This position should excite someone who is ready to take ownership of all aspects of sales operations and, alongside the Marketing and Sales teams, provide long-term strategic direction of DATAMYTE sales process and pipeline generation. Serve as the in-house Salesforce go-to person working with our external Salesforce Admin team.
Responsibilities
· The position will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing
· Conducting pipeline and opportunity analysis, forecast methodology, product segmentation, lead management, and providing insights to leadership that will drive effective management decisions for growth strategies.
· Take ownership of all aspects of sales operations and provide long-term strategic direction of DATAMYTE sales process and pipeline generation
· Analyze sales data to identify trends, conduct white space analysis, and monitor opportunities to track progress and performance
· Monitor Inside Sales Rep metrics and make strategic recommendations to leadership based on insights gathered. Ensure they are following through on Marketing Campaign initiatives that require sales coordination.
· Ensure data quality within the CRM by establishing best practices for data health, data appends, and reportability.
· Collaborate with the sales team to understand their operational needs and help achieve their goals
· Manage the sales team tech stack: Salesforce, Zoominfo, Salesforce Maps, Salesforce Territory Planning, Aircall
· Own tracking and communications around Sales Incentive Programs
· Create and manage sales documentation, including sales plans, SOPs and job aids
· Provide training and support to sales personnel on operations processes
· Own and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as needed
· 5-10% of role will be Marketing support
Qualifications and Background
Position Requirements:
· For an ideal candidate to be successful, they will need to be a strategic problem solver that is willing to take ownership of all sales operation roles, such as: Salesforce reporting, metrics tracking for internal sales, and identifying and dashboarding key metrics for leadership to achieve the goal of revenue growth
· 3-5+ years in sales operations and/or sales data analysis
· In-depth Salesforce experience required including list and report generation, dashboard creation, and best practices around data integrity and maintenance.
· Experience with Salesforce Maps, Excel, and list/database management highly desired
· Tech savvy with sense of curiosity and good problem-solving skills when required
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail
· Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
· Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
· Independent, self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing environment
