Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Eden, MD is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to rapidly apply a recent degree across sales, operations, finance and customer service.

You will train with a high-energy team, learn processes and technology, and advance through mentorship toward leadership roles. The role requires driving Penske vehicles, regular attendance, and flexibility to travel within the district for training and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred.
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles (26’ box truck).
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• DOT-regulated; driver qualification file, DOT Physical and FMCSA checks required.
• Willingness to travel within the district to customers’ yards, training sites, and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts, including Fortune 500.
• Manage a large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
