Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Operations Manager to develop, manage, and deliver support services for our sales force. The role acts as the liaison between customers, the sales team, and distribution, ensuring efficient branch operations.

The Operations Manager will oversee pricing, invoicing, and reporting, while guiding a team to meet performance targets and maintain high service levels across all branch activities. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years in sales support/operations.
• Experience training staff on systems and processes.
• Ability to manage inventory, pricing, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all sales support activities for the branch.
• Train sales staff on systems, databases, and processes.
• Provide customer support including orders, shortages, delivery dates, and price changes.
• Implement and maintain pricing per policies.
• Manage collections and accounts payable activities.
• Prepare reports on inquiries, sales trends, complaints, delivery, and service problems.
• Assist customers and suppliers to resolve order problems.
• Manage inventory to meet annual turn goals.
• May fill in for other branch roles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
