About this opportunity

Ericsson is seeking a Sales Operations Intern to support our Sales Operations team in the US market. This is an exciting opportunity for a current undergraduate or graduate student who wants to work at the intersection of sales process, data, tools, and commercial decision making. You’ll develop hands on experience supporting sales leaders, managing funnel data, and helping improve processes and tools that underpin Ericsson’s customer engagements.

Our purpose is to create connections that make the unimaginable possible. Every day, we use creativity, expertise, and technology to solve some of the world's greatest challenges and elevate opportunities that once seemed impossible.

You will build knowledge of Ericsson’s sales processes and customers, performing a variety of tasks under guidance while contributing directly to the team’s impact on data quality, process adherence, and sales performance.

What you will do
  • Support adherence to the Ericsson sales process by assisting Sales Operations team members with day to day activities, including documenting steps, updating process materials, and helping secure competence activities (training and guidance) for sales process end users.
  • Help drive Sales Operations change programs by coordinating meetings, preparing communication and basic project documentation, and assisting project leaders with administrative activities needed to implement process and tool changes.
  • Assist with sales funnel management by helping maintain data quality, streamlining access to funnel information, and supporting consistent application of qualification criteria to improve sales performance.
  • Support sales governance activities by helping end users with tasks related to adherence to Sales Directive and Business Delegation, including tracking compliance checkpoints and organizing information in shared repositories.
  • Help manage and improve sales tools (e.g., CRM, reporting dashboards) by gathering user feedback, testing small changes, and supporting activities that optimize end user proficiency, access, and satisfaction.
  • Use spreadsheets, CRM systems (such as Salesforce), and AI enabled tools to analyze data, generate basic reports, identify trends, and summarize insights that support decision making in Sales Operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations colleagues, account teams, and commercial managers on activities that create value for the sales process and help end users work more effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify ways of working, documenting suggestions, and supporting small process and tooling enhancements.
The skills you bring
  • Currently enrolled as a Bachelors or Masters student (e.g., rising junior or senior) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in telecommunications, B2B sales, sales operations, CRM systems, and data driven decision making.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with structured data, follow established processes, and translate findings into clear, practical insights for business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using productivity tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint) and willing to learn CRM systems such as Salesforce; prior experience with CRM, reporting, or basic scripting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, with the ability to follow guidelines and ask questions when something is unclear.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across sales, operations, and supporting functions.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for learning how structured sales processes, tools, and analytics support customer engagements and commercial outcomes.
