Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. seeks a seasonal Warehouse Associate to support unloading, loading, warehousing and order fulfillment. You will handle data and order entry, coordinate with vendors, and maintain inventory accuracy using Excel and Salesforce tools.

Full-time seasonal position with 25-week duration; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for periods is required. Prior data entry and warehouse operations experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree; data/order entry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
• Analytical abilities and strong communication and multi-tasking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Write, process and modify Vendor purchase orders as needed.
• Coordinate merchandise deliveries and returns with vendors, warehouse and sales teams.
• Use and edit Excel spreadsheets for data organization and ingestion into POS/Salesforce systems.
• Utilize Salesforce for order tracking and fulfillment accuracy.
• Assist with pricing, style creation, and vendor invoicing.

Overview

A.D. STARR is a company owned by DICK’s Sporting Goods. In this role, you will execute the unloading, loading, staging and warehousing of cartons, practicing safe and secure procedures and following proper material handling methods for maximum productivity. This role requires a high degree of detail orientations, a sense of urgency to meet all deadline requirements, and a willingness to take on multiple warehouse/operations assignments – in addition to general warehouse needs.

Purchasing and Order Fulfillment

• Write, process and modify Vendor purchase orders as needed
• Follow up with vendors as needed to ensure product availability/delivery and proper shipment
• Coordinate merchandise returns with our customers, the A.D. STARR warehouse, vendors and sales team to maintain accurate inventory and accounting.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise with orders. Act as a liaison between vendors/internal teams, customers and A.D. STARR teammates.
• Use & edit excel spreadsheets for customer data organization and ingestion into the current Point of Sale system.
• Utilize POS system and sales tracking (Salesforce) software for order accuracy and fulfillment
• Track order progress and maintain a record of issues that arise to improve Vendor & Merchant Team relationships and processes going forward

Softline Warehousing and Operational Support

• Supports accurate pricing and style creation with merchant team and communicates changes to the sales team
• Assist accounting with receivables, shipping and vendor invoices
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for some extended periods of time.
• Support entire warehouse team for fulfillment, shipping and receiving.
• Ability to operate a Warehouse Work Assist Vehicle for item picking in high reach areas.

Production Fulfillment

• Decorate apparel using with heat applied techniques (heat presses) and utilize cad cut equipment for in house production.

Additional Information

• A.D. STARR business hours are Monday-Friday 8A-5P
• Weekends not required
• This position is seasonal designed to be approximately 25 weeks

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• 1-3 years experience in data and order entry, report generation, ability to maintain deadlines and a working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
