Position Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day‑to‑day operations of the branch while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role provides leadership and direction to branch personnel, monitors project progress and worker productivity, ensures compliance with company and safety standards, delivers exceptional customer service, and identifies opportunities for operational improvement and business growth.

The Branch Manager serves as a hands‑on leader across all aspects of construction management and is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and profitability throughout the branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations and ensure the effective execution of company policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality control standards are consistently maintained across all projects.
• Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Administrative Assistant and Superintendent.
• Manage projects from initiation through completion, including monitoring profitability, reviewing tickets and quantities, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of crews to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure the availability and proper allocation of equipment and materials for projects.
• Oversee the sign shop, including production, organization, and inventory control.
• Monitor worker productivity, project progress, safety compliance, and overall job performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly those related to human resources, safety, quality control, and operational standards.
• Assist with the hiring, discipline, counseling, and termination of branch employees as needed.
• Provide leadership and support to branch personnel while promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
• Set performance goals, monitor results, and implement strategies to improve productivity and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, improved efficiency, and increased profitability.
• Serve as a hands‑on leader in all aspects of construction management, ensuring projects meet established completion dates and quality standards.
• Provide oversight and leadership to the assigned office and assist with the implementation of company initiatives and operational strategies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and other business partners.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by company leadership.

Education & Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Demonstrated experience in construction management, project management, or branch operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality control, scheduling, and operational procedures.
• Ability to effectively lead, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance.
