Cerberus Capital Management LP, based in New York, seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Sales Operations team. You will analyze fund and investment performance, develop fundraising materials, and craft high-quality marketing and investor responses.

You will coordinate across stakeholders to meet tight deadlines and support capital formation efforts. The role emphasizes industry knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication.

Job Purpose:

Cerberus is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Sales Operations team which supports the firm’s capital formation efforts. You will assist in analyzing fund and investment performance, developing and maintaining fundraising materials, and creating high-quality marketing and sales presentations. You will also support the team and business through drafting accurate and thoughtful responses to investor inquiries, including RFPs, DDQs, and other fundraising and account maintenance requests.

The role requires industry and product knowledge, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will liaise closely with multiple business areas and stakeholders to coordinate and manage investor requests while developing a knowledge of Cerberus’ products and strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 2-5 years of relevant experience, including in real estate, banking, private equity, investor relations, or a related financial field.
• Track record of academic success
• Interest in alternatives investing
• Open to a wide range of majors including finance, accounting, economics, marketing, English, communications, and liberal arts programs
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong work ethic

The base salary for this position is expected to be $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
