The Sales Operations Associate keeps PEI's commercial teams running smoothly and helps make their work easier. The role supports our subscription, delegate, and sponsorship and advertising sales teams, as well as Client Success: handling CRM requests, keeping data accurate, creating and allocating opportunities, and managing sales tools and licences. Alongside getting the day‑to‑day work done, the role is expected to look for improvement, spotting where requests could be avoided through better training, clearer guidance or automation in Microsoft Dynamics 365, and raising them with the wider RevOps team.
This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina with a hybrid work structure of 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
- Own the sales support queue: triage, resolve and escalates Dynamics 365 requests from sales reps, account managers and Client Success, working to agreed response times.
- Keep CRM data accurate: create and merge organisations, offices and contacts, and keep account, opportunity and order records correct.
- Create and allocate opportunities from inbound enquiries, following agreed routing rules, and follow up to make sure the right account manager picks them up.
- Create records in Dynamics 365 where needed for the sales, Client Success and Networks teams.
- Keep accounts allocated to the right team and revenue status (client or acquisition) as orders are posted or lapse.
- Manage and assign sales tool licences and access, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the commercial team distribution lists, making sure licences sit with the people who use them.
- Provide first-line support for sales tools, including Dynamics 365 and DocuSign, and escalating issues to the CRM admins where needed.
- Maintain price units in Dynamics 365 and the sales forecast files, and produce routine operational reports such as licensed user lists and CRM views.
- Spot patterns in the requests that come in, and flag where training, clearer guidance or automation would remove the need for them.
- Work with the CRM admins and analysts to test and support changes, and help teams adopt them.
- Work with Sales, Client Success, Marketing and Finance to keep sales data and processes aligned.
