Job summary

Interplace, Inc. is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional based in the United States to develop new business for electronic products and manage customer relationships. The role requires collaboration with the Japan Headquarters and travel across regions to identify opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1+ years in sales/marketing, strong English communication, and business-level Japanese. Travel availability is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in sales and marketing is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Business-level Japanese language skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese culture or experience in a Japanese company is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills are required.
• Willingness to travel 50+% domestically and internationally (Europe, Asia, North America).

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes business strategies for new business development of company electronic products (e.g., optical film products and other electronic components).
• Manage sales and customer service for existing and new customers; serve as communication window between Japan HQ and customers.
• Serve as technical liaison between Japan Headquarters engineers and customer engineers; assist with quality follow-up and resolution.
• Extensive travel both domestically and internationally required to seek potential business opportunities.
