Job summary

AC Hotel Atlanta Buckhead at Phipps Plaza, part of Aimbridge Hospitality, is seeking a Sales Manager OEM to drive SMERF, sports, tour & travel, and group business. You’ll collaborate with the Director of Sales to win accounts, set strategies, and close opportunities across sleeping rooms and meeting space.

You’ll manage proposals, rate negotiation, and CRM activity, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering revenue growth for the hotel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hotel sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and professional selling skills; ability to negotiate and multitask independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Focus on SMERF / social business and meeting space.
• Prospect and develop business from SMERF, sports, tour & travel, reunion, social, and conference markets.
• Identify, qualify, solicit, and close new business opportunities aligned with hotel objectives.
• Respond to sales inquiries and incoming leads for rooms, meeting space, F&B.
• Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to meet revenue and room night goals.
• Facilitate meetings to share BEO details and group feedback.
• Greet all assigned in-house meetings and manage group blocks & function schedules.
• Use Delphi and other CRM systems to track client activity and maintain records.
