Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a sales-focused leader to manage selling and customer service activities across residential and commercial markets. You will develop programs to optimize sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and forecast pricing strategies.

The role requires operating a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle and travel more than 20% of the work week. An MVR check is standard, with an acceptable report required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
• Generally 7+ years experience in related field.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops direct and indirect reports, including inside sales, estimators, and special product sales.
• Works with residential/commercial developers to ascertain housing starts and partnerships; communicates with local client authorities.
• Communicates and negotiates special pricing and product availability with top vendors in district.
• Plans and implements district advertising and promotional strategy and activities.
• Trains and assists management on POS procedures and analyzes sales reports to address deficiencies.
