Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team that sells Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions, including printers, copiers, facsimile equipment, and document management software.

The role requires living within a reasonable commuting distance to Indianapolis, IN so that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities. We offer a base salary range of $61,800 to $92,520 annually, plus incentive compensation potential of about $95,700 and a transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, plus 7 years of related experience and management of typically two or more regular full-time employees (one of whom must be exempt).
• Progressive responsibility in sales, industry and marketing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of sales representatives who sell Canon hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within a territory and/or an assigned account list.
• Train, develop, and coach current and new sales representatives to success.
• Achieve 100% of quota through management of a team.
• Set clear goals and deadlines to be met in a timely manner.
• Interview, conduct performance reviews, monthly plan and reviews, and submit forecasts and ride days with representatives.
• Maintain proficiency in product and promotional knowledge.
• Maintain and manage all assigned company assets (cellphone, laptop, promo book, etc.).
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
