Job description

The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals, booking new catering business, and detailing events. The role involves working with the operations team to execute group, meeting, and social event business, developing strategic plans to maximize revenue, and working with clients to form Banquet Event Orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicitation of new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Book new catering business and detail events
• Sell to a variety of market segments

• Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize revenue
• Quote rates and availability to customers
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments
• Set-up and execution of events as needed
• Work with clients to form Banquet Event Orders
• Assist with other areas as assigned
• Work with outside catering companies and local vendors
• Log all sales related activity in the sales software system
