Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde seeks a results-driven Account Manager to develop new customers and manage all customers in the assigned US territory. You will provide written reports on account activity, monitor KPI progress, set territory targets, and implement strategies to increase sales, profitability and market share.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least 3 years in bearing/ring sales, CRM data entry, travel ~25%, and collaboration with Manufacturers Representatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in bearing/ring sales.
• CRM data entry and sales reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the bearing territory KPI’s (order income, leads, conversions).
• Enter required data into the Rotek CRM and report to management.
• Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with accounts and potential accounts; travel ~25%.
• Attend related trade shows and develop strategies to increase sales and market share.

Your responsibilities

SALARY RANGE: $110k - $120k (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY: Develop new customers and maintain all customers in assigned territory. Provide written reports regarding key account activity, competitor activity and market trends. Set territory targets and monitor progress towards achieving goals. Develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing sales, profitability and market share. Provide data to management to help establish order and revenue budgets. Meet or exceed KPI’s in the designated territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for main bearing territory KPI’s
• KPI’s may include but are not limited to the following: territory order income total, key account order income, number of key account leads, key account lead conversion rate, new opportunities, new opportunity conversion rate, open opportunities, successful closure rate of open opportunities, implementation of scheduling agreements, CRM data accuracy and total number of customer meetings.
• Work directly with the network of contracted Manufacturers Representatives.
• Enter required data and information into Rotek CRM
• Report important information account to Rotek Management
• Schedule and perform in person meetings with accounts and potential accounts
• Travel with the contracted manufacturer’s representatives to increase the sales and profile of Rotek
• Achieve all goals as established
• Attend related trade shows
• Arrange own travel plans and accommodations in accordance with Corporate Travel Policy and applicable travel guidelines. Estimated travel ~ 25%.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years experience in bearing / ring sales.

EXPORT CONTROL: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp’s ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
