Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Drafter to formalize proposal drawings and create bearing race ring details. You will produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and revisions in line with engineering standards and SAP-driven order processes.

The role requires a BS degree in mechanical engineering and CAD proficiency; familiarity with Inventor/AutoCAD is essential. Expect collaboration across teams, continuous improvement, and a focus on safe, compliant work practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years in product design.
• Proficient with CAD tools such as Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Experience with SAP and Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal drawings as required by Application Engineering and standardized workflow processes.
• Review technical documents and produce detailed drawings per engineering standards.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor; develop 3D models for QC inspections.
• Process sales order entries for new and repeat design using SAP; maintain revision control in ECN system.
• Support continuous improvement activities and coordinate with supervisor on technical reviews.
