What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the defense and aerospace markets
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including defense contractors and government agencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through effective business development efforts

What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in business development, program management, or technical program leadership in aerospace and/or defense
- Strong networking skills with exposure to executive levels in Aerospace and Defense sectors
- Proven track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Military service experience is appreciated, and veterans are encouraged to apply
- Active security clearance is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 30% or more as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Team player personality with a self-starter attitude
