Mackie Myers, in partnership with a growing consumer packaged goods company, is hiring a Sales Manager who will own revenue, distribution, and shelf presence for a defined region or account portfolio. This individual contributor role is hands-on, focusing on strong buyer relationships and execution at the shelf.

You’ll report to the VP of Sales, lead trade promotions, forecast and manage CRM records, and drive retail execution across multiple channels while traveling 30–60% within your region.

Mackie Myers is partnering with a growing consumer packaged goods company to hire a Sales Manager. You’ll report to the VP of Sales and own revenue, distribution and shelf presence for your region or account portfolio. This is an individual contributor role for a hands‑on seller who builds strong buyer relationships and personally drives execution at the shelf.

What you’ll do

• Build and deliver the annual sales plan for your region or accounts, hitting volume, revenue and margin targets
• Own relationships with retail buyers, category managers, distributors and brokers across grocery, mass, drug, club, convenience and e-commerce
• Lead line reviews and joint business planning, and negotiate pricing, promotions, slotting and terms
• Plan and manage trade spend (TPRs, features, displays, co-op) and shift dollars toward the promotions that earn the best ROI
• Drive retail execution: in-stocks, planogram compliance, secondary placements and new item cut-ins
• Use syndicated data and retailer portals to close distribution gaps and fix out-of-stocks
• Direct brokers, merchandisers and third‑party field teams on your accounts
• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts and keep CRM current

What you bring

• 5+ years of CPG sales experience, including at least 2 years managing key accounts directly
• A track record of beating sales targets and growing distribution
• Experience selling to major retailers and/or managing distributors and brokers
• Working knowledge of trade promotion management and P&L basics
• Strong Excel and CRM skills (e.g., Salesforce)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel 30–60% within your region

Nice to have

• Background in snacks or candy
• Experience with Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ or SPINS, and retailer portals such as Retail Link
• Category management or shopper marketing experience
