Job summary

CHISON seeks a field-based sales leader to drive ultrasound equipment sales across the U.S., with a focus on developing distributor relationships and managing partnerships. The role offers home-based flexibility with an office option in Seattle, WA.

You will build a robust distributor pipeline through trade shows, cold calling, and networking, lead negotiations and onboarding, and collaborate with marketing, product, and service teams to ensure success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of medical device sales experience, with 2+ years in ultrasound or capital equipment.
  • Ability to independently develop new markets and recruit distributors.
  • Strong negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Native or near-native English; Chinese proficiency preferred for HQ communication.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Job description

Location: United States (Home-based; office available in Seattle, WA)

I. Position Overview

Responsible for driving ultrasound equipment sales in the U.S. market, with a primary focus on developing new distributor relationships and managing existing distributor partnerships. This is a results-driven, field-based role requiring strong channel management skills and the ability to work independently.

II. Key Responsibilities
  • ① Develop and execute channel expansion strategies for the U.S. market — identify, screen, and recruit qualified distributors with experience in ultrasound or medical device sales;
  • ② Build a robust pipeline of potential distributors through industry trade shows, professional associations, cold calling, and networking;
  • ③ Lead distributor negotiation and agreement signing, and manage the onboarding process for new partners。
  • ① Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations to ensure sales targets are met;
  • ② Provide product training, market strategy support, and pre- and post-sales assistance to distributors to enhance their sales capabilities and business output;
  • ③ Coordinate internal resources (product, marketing, service, etc.) to support distributors in resolving customer issues, improving customer satisfaction and brand loyalty;
  • ④ Manage channel conflicts and maintain channel order and pricing integrity。
  • ① Conduct in-depth market research on the U.S. ultrasound market, analyze competitive landscape, regional demand, and customer pain points, develop regional sales strategies and expansion plans;
  • ② Lead or participate in industry trade shows and academic conferences in the U.S. for product promotion and branding;
  • ③ Conduct regular visits to end-users and KOLs, gather market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product and business strategy。
4. Sales Target & Performance Management
  • ① Achieve annual sales targets (including revenue, new distributor acquisition, and existing distributor growth);
  • ② Manage customer information, sales pipeline, and business opportunities through CRM, and submit regular sales forecasts and market reports。
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • ① Collaborate with marketing, product, and service teams to drive product compliance and brand building in the U.S. market;
  • ② Provide customer feedback and market trend insights to support product positioning and strategy refinement。
III. Requirements
  • ① Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, International Trade, Marketing, Business English, or related fields;
  • ② 5+ years of medical device sales experience, with 2+ years in ultrasound or capital equipment sales; proven U.S. market channel resources are a strong plus;
  • ③ Familiarity with the U.S. medical device market; proven ability to independently develop new markets and recruit distributors;
  • ④ Excellent negotiation skills, cross-cultural communication abilities, and a results-oriented mindset;
  • ⑤ Strong distributor management experience, with the ability to effectively train and motivate channel partners;
  • ⑥ Native or near-native English proficiency; Chinese fluency preferred (for regular communication with China headquarters);
  • ⑦ Valid U.S. work authorization; willingness to travel within the assigned territory;
  • ⑧ Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite。
