Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented sales leader to spearhead the expansion of our sales efforts. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SMI Aware’s products and services and be able to effectively communicate their value proposition. This is a high-accountability role with significant financial upside based on performance, requiring a self-starter with a hunter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients to promote and sell SMI Aware’s solutions, focusing on the legal community, including law firms, solo practitioners, and corporate legal departments.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline, with a strong emphasis on sourcing and cultivating new leads.
  • Be a "hunter" to aggressively pursue new business opportunities and expand market share within the legal sector.
  • Develop customized proposals and presentations to showcase the value of SMI Aware’s products and services.
  • Represent SMI Aware at conferences and industry events across the United States to market and sell products.
  • Effectively manage the CRM platform to track and optimize client interactions, ensuring a seamless sales process.
Strategic Sales Leadership
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to define and execute sales strategies and goals.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and inform decision-making.
  • Leverage market insights to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning.
Process Optimization & Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Analyst Manager and other leadership members to align sales efforts with operational capacity and priorities.
  • Partner with the Product Team to provide client feedback and communicate new features or functionality effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to position SMI Aware as a market leader.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales success, ideally in a B2B or tech-enabled services environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building rapport and influencing decision-makers.
  • Mindset: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CRM platforms and the Google Suite; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
