Job summary

European Wax Center is seeking an enthusiastic Designated Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will hire, train, and coach Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet sales targets.

You will drive a positive culture, optimize scheduling, and address issues promptly through strong leadership and coaching. The role emphasizes growth, learning, and scalable processes as part of our national network.

Qualifications

• 40+ hours per week; full-time position.
• Management experience in sales or beauty preferred.
• Strong organizational, task management and delegation skills.
• Demonstrated sales experience in a commission-based setting.
• Demonstrated problem solving with root-cause analysis and solutions.
• Ability to drive results through others.
• Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists in customer service, sales, and quality of service.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and coaching the team daily.
• Develop and foster a high-performance culture where people love to work.
• Build the business through effective scheduling.
• De-escalate unsatisfied issues and train the team on opportunities.
• Analyze business metrics and drive KPIs through action planning and team strengths.
• Complete payroll, inventory, and other admin tasks; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and supervise employees like Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists in customer service, sales, and quality of service.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the team through daily coaching.
• Develop and foster an inspiring high-performance culture where people love to come to work.
• Build the business through effective scheduling.
• Proactively de-escalate any unsatisfied issues and train the team on opportunities.
• Assess business analytics and drive key performance metrics through action planning and leveraging team strengths.
• Complete administrative tasks such as payroll and inventory in a timely manner and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain outstanding cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
• Additional management duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work 40+ hours a week, this is a full-time position.
• Management experience in a sale and/or the beauty industry is preferred.
• Strong organizational, task management, and delegation skills
• Demonstrated sales experience in a commission-based setting.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and proposed solutions,
• Ability to drive results through others.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with POS
