The Sales Manager drives day-to-day sales operations and is accountable for consistent, professional driving performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or senior sales leader.
• Strong desking, deal structuring and trade appraisal experience.
• Demonstrated success improving sales volume, gross and inventory performance.
• Advanced working knowledge of Cox Automotive Software.
• Able to lead from the front and provide direct feedback.
• Comfortable managing performance and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Desk, structure, and approve retail deals.
• Oversee and approve trade appraisals.
• Ensure compliant profitable deal structures.
• Monitor front end and back end gross performance daily.
• Assist in sales and F&I production when staffing requires hands-on support.
• Lead sales meetings and ongoing training.
• Coach and develop sales and F&I staff.
• Establish a culture of accountability, preparation, and performance.
• Own lead management, response standards, and follow-up execution.
• Enforce CRM compliance and track lead-to-sale metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & F&I Leadership

• Desk, structure, and approve retail deals
• Oversee and approve trade appraisals
• Ensure compliant profitable deal structures
• Monitor front end and back end gross performance daily
• Actively assist in sales and F&I production when staffing requires hands on support

Inventory & Pricing Management

• Review vehicle pricing using market data
• Manage inventory aging and turn strategies
• Partner on inventory acquisition to align with market demand

Team Leadership & Accountability

• Lead sales meetings and ongoing training
• Coach, and develop sales and F&I staff
• Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, preparation, and performance

CRM, Leads & Technology

• Own lead management, response standards, and follow-up execution
• Monitor lead to sale performance metrics and enforce CRM compliance
