Job summary

Commonwealth Hotels is seeking a dynamic Hotel Group Sales Manager to drive group sales and maximize hotel revenue at Embassy Suites Akron Canton Airport and the Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton in North Canton, OH. You will cultivate relationships with corporate clients, associations, and event planners, and coordinate with operations to deliver exceptional events.

The role demands strong guest-focused service, sharp time management, and teamwork across multiple hotel brands under Commonwealth

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new group sales opportunities to drive hotel revenue.

• Collaborate with catering, banquet, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Conduct property tours and sales presentations for potential clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.
• Maintain accurate sales records and generate performance reports.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold Commonwealth Hotels standards.
