Miami Coconut Grove Hampton Inn Hotel is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team! The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by overseeing all aspects of group sales. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, cultivating client relationships to achieve sales targets and maximize occupancy rates across various segments, including group and events. The Sales Manager plays a key role in promoting the hotel’s offerings, enhancing its competitive position in the market, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients and guests.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue goals and market share objectives for the hotel.
  • Identify target market segments, key accounts, and business opportunities, and prioritize sales initiatives accordingly.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and sales forecasting.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, meetings, and presentations to promote hotel services and offerings, address client needs, and secure business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and service agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with hotel revenue objectives and profitability targets.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the hotel by promoting teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and digital content to support sales efforts and enhance the hotel’s brand visibility.
  • Participate in industry events and networking activities to promote the hotel and generate leads.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, booking patterns, and market demand trends to optimize pricing strategies and revenue yield.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and distribution teams to ensure inventory optimization and effective channel management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to coordinate resources, address client needs, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to track progress against sales targets, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure ROI of sales initiatives.
  • Utilize sales data and market insights to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Education And Experience
  • 2 years of hotel sales experience or equivalent industry experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Knowledge of Hilton systems and Delphi a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours.
