Job summary

The Capital Grille in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Sales Manager to drive restaurant business through direct and indirect sales, private dining, and local marketing initiatives. You will lead the Host/Sales department and partner with the Managing Partner and Executive Chef to flawlessly execute every event.

You should bring outside sales experience and 1+ years of management in food service; 2+ years in casual dining preferred.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience required.
• 1+ years management or supervisory experience in restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business.
• 2+ years casual dining or full-service restaurant management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build business for the restaurant through direct and indirect sales, including private dining and community marketing initiatives.

The Sales Manager also leads and manages the restaurant level Host/Sales department operations, modeling and demonstrating leadership that is grounded in the core values & principles of Darden and The Capital Grille. In addition, the Sales Manager is responsible for partnering with the Managing Partner and Executive Chef to ensure each event is flawlessly executed against the company's philosophies.
