Job summary

Thompson Safety, LLC in Broomall, PA is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop the sales team, recruit and coach Account Executives and Key Account Managers, and drive growth for safety products.

You will balance direct selling to customers with strategic collaboration with operations, ensure revenue growth, and maintain compliance with OSHA/ANSI guidelines while fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the B2B Facility Services.
• 3+ years of Outside Sales experience.
• 2+ years of Sales Management experience.
• Strong marketing and sales strategy development experience.
• Working knowledge of safety distribution industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume all profit and loss accountability for the sales department.
• Recruit and hire Account Executives and Key Account Managers to grow the sales department.
• Train sales department on Thompson Safety Sales Process and OSHA/ANSI compliance regulations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback through regular check-ins, ride-alongs, and mentorship.
• Goodwill to current customers.
• Direct selling into prospects, specifically target accounts.
• Build and develop partnerships that will grow the business within the industry marketplace (NAFED, ASSP, NSC).
• Educate service department on identifying leads and closing business.
• Work with General Manager to foster success between sales, operations, and culture.
• Overall responsibility to ensure maximum level of engagement and performance of sales personnel in accordance with applicable laws and the company’s values.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for the management and development of the sales team. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing outside and inside sales team, on-going coaching, directly selling to company's customers and prospects, and working with operations to grow new business and current customer sales. Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel when needed.
