Job summary

Fairfield Napa Residence Inn by Marriott in Fairfield, CA is seeking a dedicated Hotel Sales professional to grow the property's corporate and leisure accounts, manage client relationships, and drive revenue through proactive contact and market analysis.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with hotel staff, familiarity with sales tools, and a proven ability to prospect, network, and close deals; a minimum of 1 year in hotel sales is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hotel sales experience preferred.
• Strong prospecting, networking and client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of hospitality sales tools and systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the GM.
• Provides sales training to hotel staff as applicable.
• Analyzes revenue strategy using Star Reports and front-office data.
• Conducts required amount of cold calls to build pipeline.
• Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data.
• Responds to GM requests and supports management team as needed.
• Performs GM duties in GM's absence.
• All other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager
• Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable
• Analyzes Revenue Management strategy using such tools as Star Reports, demand analysis and applicable front office systems
• Conducts a required amount of cold calls
• Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data
• Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel, as applicable
• Performs functions of General Manager in General Manager’s absence
• All other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Preferably 1+ year of similar experience in Hotel Sales
• Brand Experience preferred not required.
• Knowledgeable in Brand Specific Sales Tools and Systems
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong Prospecting and Networking Skills
• Education Preferred of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
