Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Columbus division. The role oversees sales reps and communities, develops and implements sales strategies to achieve quotas and profitability, with knowledge in the homebuilder industry.

You will coach a team of 10 reps across 7 communities in northern Columbus suburbs, travel to field, collaborate with marketing and production, and ensure goals are met while maintaining strong customer relationships.

• 5+ years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10 sales reps & 7 communities in northern Columbus suburbs.
• Travel to field; manage 7 communities, weekly visits.
• Collaborate with the community sales teams and marketing.
• Coordinate with construction teams onsite.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams.
• Set quotas and monitor progress for the team.
• Provide one-on-one sales coaching to reps.
• Liaise among sales, homeowners, production and office staff to resolve issues.

This position will sit onsite in Columbus, Ohio and will travel a lot around northern-central Ohio. The base pay will start at around $120k and there will be up to $50k in bonus potential.

Job Description

A customer of Insight Global is looking to onboard an Area Sales Manager to the Columbus division. This person leads the sales department through the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve profit potentials, quota attainment, and sales goals. With knowledge in the homebuilder industry, they will coach and challenge their sales representatives to turn visiting customers into future homeowners.

Day to Day

• Oversee 10 sales reps & 7 communities in northern suburbs of Columbus
• Go out to field and manage 7 communities, hit each once or twice a week
• Collaborating with the sales people at each communities
• Also collab with construction people onsite
• Work close with sales and marketing team
• Assigns sales team appropriate quotas, goals, and sales areas and continuously monitor these goals
• Spend one on one time with sales reps to assist in sales trainings
• Acts as liaison between sales team, homeowners, production, office staff and other management to resolve issues/concerns
