Job summary

Ashley Furniture HomeStore is seeking a Sales Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations at our Buford, GA location. You will help drive sales performance, lead the sales team, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing budgets for wages and supplies, and coordinating daily huddles and reports. A strong focus on leadership, communication, and guest experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years working in the retail industry.
• Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales KPI’s.
• Ability to handle guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Ability to interview and staff retail location.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Oversee sales KPI’s such as volume, margin, closing ratio, and sales per guest.
• Provide leadership and clear communication to sales, guest experience and visual teams.
• Coach sales staff to build individual and team success.
• Assist in maintaining budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.
• Document procedures and tasks and complete reports on time.
• Coordinate staffing levels and daily/weekly huddles.
• Work with Visual Presentation Manager on product placement.

Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

Responsibilities:

• Support the General Sales Managers’ in overseeing all sales KPI’s including but not limited to; volume, margin, closing ratio, sales per guest, bedding and protection.
• The ability to handle all customer-related issues in the absence of the General Sales Manager.
• Provide exceptional leadership with timely and effective communication to the sales, guest experience and visual teams.
• Coach members of the sales staff to build individual and team success in a professional manner.
• Assist the General Sales Manager in maintaining budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.
• Ensure complete and adequate documentation of procedures and tasks completed.
• Complete various report functions in a timely manner.
• Aid to maintain proper staffing levels for the sales team job code in accordance with company set budget levels.
• Prepare and administer impact coaching sessions for development of the sales team.
• Coordinate and execute daily, weekly peak state huddles.
• Work with the Visual Presentation Manager regarding product placement.
• Report changes in policy and other information to staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:
