Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and maintain a strong sales culture at our Baltimore retail location, reporting to the Branch Manager. You will drive sales goals through coordination with merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams to ensure an excellent TRS experience for customers.

Responsibilities include training the local sales team, managing quotes, and leading initiatives to grow market share while supporting charitable activities and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support sales growth within the location’s market by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve company-defined metrics and advance key sales initiatives
• Develop and train the local sales team with a sales-minded focus that promotes customer satisfaction
• Manage the internal quote system, coordinating on-site visits and ensuring timely customer follow-up with accurate quotes
• Understand and utilize DiSC profiling to build a cohesive and high-performing team
• Support year-over-year membership growth at all levels within the local market
• Create and identify marketing leads and opportunities within the local market that support future growth
• Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager(s) to identify charitable organizations to support within the local market
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Job Summary

The Sales Manager with The Restaurant Store is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective sales culture for a retail branch location. Under direction of the Branch Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for accomplishing a variety of sales goals through effective day-to-day strategies that align with our merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams to ensure customers are satisfied with their TRS experience.

• Support sales growth within the location’s market by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve company-defined metrics and advance key sales initiatives
• Develop and maintain extensive product knowledge while leading and/or delegating product training within the branch location
• Develop and train the local sales team with a sales-minded focus that promotes customer satisfaction
• Manage the internal quote system, coordinating on-site visits and ensuring timely customer follow-up with accurate, up-to-date quotes.
• Understand and utilize a deep understanding of DiSC profiling to build a cohesive and high-performing team
• Support year‑over‑year membership growth at all levels within the local market
• Manage customer sales issues as needed
• Create and identify marketing leads and opportunities within the local market that support future growth
• Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager(s) to identify charitable organizations to support within the local market
• Manage building safety by holding keys to the building and using alarm codes as outlined in company policy
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store
