Job summary

Mr. Greens is seeking a Sales Manager for the Georgia Region to lead the sales organization, execute the regional strategy, and drive profitable growth in produce distribution across Georgia.

The role partners with Operations, Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure exceptional service and sustained revenue expansion. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in food/produce sales, strong leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field.
• Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
• At least three to five years of food/produce sales experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the sales team.
• Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.
• Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
• Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
• Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.
• Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
• Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
• Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.

Summary

The Sales Manager, Georgia Region is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy that drives profitable revenue growth throughout Georgia. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience in produce distribution, foodservice, wholesale distribution, or related industries and demonstrates a proven ability to lead large sales organizations, build strategic partnerships, and achieve ambitious revenue objectives. This position serves as a critical member of the leadership team and partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure exceptional customer service and sustainable growth.
