ClarkDietrich Building Systems offers a comprehensive lineup of steel construction products and services across the United States. Using cold-formed steel, we manufacture innovative products for interior framing, interior finishing, exterior framing, and floor framing, as well as clips, connectors, metal lath, and accessories. Our collaborations involve efforts and expertise that support smarter installation and design, including resources for BIM and ClarkDietrich Engineering Services LLC.
The Sales Management Trainee will work closely with sales and marketing and cross-functionally across departments. They will be supervised by the Sales Directors for National Accounts and Clip Express, who will assign projects and tasks to support the individual's development and understanding of the company's departments and processes.
The first two months of training will provide an immersive experience in operations to gain a foundational understanding of product manufacturing. Subsequently, trainees will travel to different locations and divisions across the U.S. to gain a comprehensive perspective on our operations and company.
The following months will include a customer experience component, such as job shadowing Account Executives, traveling with Territory Managers, and conducting calls on mass merchandisers. This includes learning to plan travel, use our CRM, and manage expenses. Assignments will be near production facilities to encourage engagement with local teams.
The training concludes with a Capstone Project presented to the Executive Management Team at our headquarters in West Chester, Ohio. Successful completion will lead to an assignment as an Account Executive at a local sales office across the U.S.
The sales career path includes market activity and share management, market positioning and intelligence, product launches, jobsite visits, and building strong customer relationships.
This position requires relocation, with expenses covered according to company policy.
