Job summary

Avondale Toyota is seeking a Lot Attendant to sustain a well-merchandised lot and support the Sales Department in delivering a world-class guest experience. The role emphasizes adherence to the One Price, One Person philosophy and showroom presentation.

The candidate will be responsible for vehicle cleanliness, proper parking, and assisting the Sales team with test drives and deliveries while maintaining high standards of organization and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Park vehicles with aesthetic of the showroom: straight rows, no gaps, alternating colors.
• Maintain vehicle and lot cleanliness; no trash or debris; daily upkeep of bays and shelves.
• Assist Sales Manager with parking test drive vehicles and offsite deliveries as needed.
• Move trucks/rollbacks on ramps; ensure proper disclosures on showroom vehicles.
• Merchandise vehicles onto showroom per management instruction; check for damage.

Job Duties

• Provide a world class experience for your customer, colleagues, and employees

• Execute all duties in a manner consistent with our values: high-character, engaged, team-player
• Relentlessly strive to improve a well merchandised lot
• Park vehicles in appropriate areas, in a fashion that delivers the aesthetic that Avondale Toyota is endeavoring to exude. (I.E. straight rows, no gaps, alternating colors, etc).
• Responsible for vehicle and lot cleanliness (no plastic/stickers left in/on vehicles; no trash or debris on the ground; trash cans emptied and wiped daily, delivery bay swept).
• Assist Sales manager in parking test drive vehicles
• Catalogue and store all keys in the Key Track System, delete when the vehicle is sold, and maintain a clean and organized key shelf. Assist in locating keys for Sales Managers and GSM’s.
• Move trucks on the ramps in the front lot.
• Park rollbacks/demos with appropriate disclosures (Buyers Guide, Monroney, etc.).
• Merchandise vehicles onto the showroom as instructed by management.
• Conduct dealer trades and check incoming/outgoing units for damage or missing equipment.
• Assist Sales Managers with offsite deliveries.
• Gas and deliver new and used sold units to wash, as well as dirty stock units that need to be cleaned.
• Opening and closing duties include:
• Unlock used cars in the morning, ensuring all are locked at close of business
• Unlock every facility door/ gates in the morning
• Lock every facility door/ gates at close of business
• Move test drives and trade ins from customer parking
• Replenish any gaps in new and used car lots
• Other duties as assigned
