Job summary

Millcraft is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to grow into a future sales leader. You will work with regional Sales Managers, support Account Managers, and build strong customer relationships across the Millcraft footprint.

You will learn coaching, sales strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, while developing your own accounts and contributing to pipeline management. A BA/BS or equivalent sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience preferred.
• Previous sales, account management, customer service, or business development experience required.
• Desire to grow into a future sales leadership role within Millcraft.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Competitive mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Curiosity and strong listening skills to uncover customer needs.
• Self-starter with ability to stay organized and manage responsibilities independently.
• Coachable attitude with openness to feedback and development.
• Ability to travel (50%) frequently across Millcraft footprint.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Millcraft sales leadership model by working with Sales Managers across regions.
• Travel 50% to shadow Sales Managers and visit customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsiveness and problem solving.
• Support Sales Managers in coaching Account Managers and pipeline discussions.
• Continue developing personal selling skills and grow assigned accounts.
• Learn cross-functional teamwork with Operations, Purchasing, Credit, and Support teams.
