Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the friendly face and expert in our Sarasota store.

You will guide customers through eyewear selection, ensure a seamless Visionworks experience, and lead daily sales while delivering exceptional patient care. Ideal candidates have at least 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, strong communication, and a passion for helping customers look and see great.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product knowledge through cont. training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Executeday-to-dayoperational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
